Federation Poultry Show 2015

Federation 2015

Last weekend Rupert and I visited the Federation of Poultry Clubs’ Championship Show or “The Fed” as it’s called by most to take photos of some of the prize winners. With over 7000 poultry & waterfowl in more than 1450 classes, it’s one of the biggest in the country and is always a pleasure to visit as people are in high spirits just before Christmas.

Thank you to everyone who patiently queued bringing birds up to be photographed, I don’t think there was ever less than about 5 people in the queue all day. Sometimes it can take a long time to get a photo but we would rather get one good one than many poor ones. If you had photos taken by me then please email me and I will send you the high resolution version(s). You can visit the Federation Facebook page if you’re interested in finding our more about this show.

Finally, a big thank you to the organisers, without your support, we would not be able to do this!

Our next show for photos will be the Reading Bantam show on the last weekend in February. See you there?
