Whilst looking around for Christmas gifts, I stumbled upon Jane's Bird Gifts website. I asked her for a little information about her site as I really liked the look of her products. This is what she had to say:
My love of garden birds and ducks inspired me to set up my own small company selling quality gifts for bird lovers. Having already started my own collection of the beautifully carved British Birds , they became my main product range for the website.
These hand carved birds are designed in the UK and imported from Bali, Indonesia where they are made by small village producers renowned for their skilled carving and painting. They are fair traded and environmentally friendly, using lead free paints and local replaceable softwood.
The bamboo root and teak Runner Ducks and Penquins are more quirky , each with their own unique character and style . They come in a variety of random poses and are supplied with individual name tags.
In addition to the hand carved ducks and birds, threre are humorous bird mugs by Simon Drew and mugs with illustrations of garden birds by the artist Madeleine Floyd. Luxury soaps in the shape of birds and birds eggs are a special treat and the range of Heritage playing cards make lovely gifts for all ages.
