Hen Rehomers UK have recently changed their name to Fresh Start for Hens. With the name change comes a new website www.freshstartforhens.co.uk

The main aim of the organization is to rehome ex-battery hens into loving, forever homes. These endearing little creatures make lovely little pets and may often provide you with eggs, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Fresh Start for Hens also aim to bring the plight of the battery hen (and current cage sizes) to the public's attention and try to convince the public it is better to buy eggs laid by hens which are not caged.

We have a number of collection points in England and one in Newport, South Wales. A full list of our collection points is outlined on our website. We are striving to build up a good network of collection points and welcome enquiries from anyone wishing to either rehome hens or assist us by becoming a volunteer.
