Eprinex - Used for Worms, Lice and Mites in Chickens

Eprinex (Pour On) is an anti-parasite medication, effective against many worms (excluding tapeworm), most mites and some lice. Eprinex is not licensed for use in poultry in the UK but is commonly prescribed by vets and is an effective treatment. Eprinex pour on is applied to the skin.

  • Used to treat: Worms, lice and most mites. Remember Red Mite live in the house, so housing will require alternative treatment.
  • Dosage: Follow the instructions given by your vet. Usually by syringe 0.5cc for large fowl, 0.25cc for bantams.
  • Treatment period: As advised by your vet but usually after initial treatment, you repeat 2 weeks later.
  • Active Ingredient: Eprinomectin
  • Egg Withdrawal period: As advised by your vet.
  • Slaughtering for meat for human consumption: As advised by your vet.
  • Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water following treatment

  • Storage: In original packing below 25ºC and out of reach of children.
