Would you like a banner on our site?

The site as you have probably read in the about poultrykeeper page is run by a small group of enthusiasts. We are not here to make money, are not selling anything and are totally independent to any brand or company. Any recommendations are based on our personal views of that of our guest authors. Although we keep banner advertising low key, we do have some opportunities for advertising for companies or individuals please contact us for further information.

Some useful information about advertising with poultrykeeper:

• Our standard banner size is 200 x 100 pixels high, large is 200 x 200 and extra large 200 x 300. We are sorry but we cannot accommodate larger than this as it would dominate the page too much.

• We are sorry but we cannot accept changing / moving banners, we find these too distracting.

• Our site is predominantly aimed at the UK by specific country targeting with the major search engines.

• Poultry Clubs and Societies can have a free banner in their specific breed section. Please consider returning the favour by giving us a link from your club website.

• If you would like to write an article for our site then we are of course more than happy for you to plug your website or products underneath the article with a banner.

Once a banner is in place, we are able to see how many impressions have appeared, how many are left and the ‘click through rate' which tells us what percentage of people are clicking on the banner when it appears and going to your site. This is important feedback that we can give to you so that you know how successful your advertising campaign is.
