Sexing Guinea Fowl.

How to sex Guinea Fowl. The male Guinea Fowl is slightly larger than the female and has larger wattles. His head looks different to the female as can be seen in the photos below (not the best photos but they move rather quickly when I get close!)

Male Guinea Fowl have a one-syllable call that sounds like they are saying "wheat" and the female Guinea Fowl has a two-syllable call that sounds like "buck-wheat". The male Guinea Fowl is on the left in the photo below.
