What Colours of Guinea Fowl are there?

The Guinea Fowl is usually best known in its original wild colour called Pearl but there are actually several different colour varieties in the domestic Guinea Fowl.
  • Pearl – The original "wild" colour with white spots
  • Pearl and White (sometimes called pied) – Wild colour with white underneath
  • Lavender – A pale grey with white spots
  • Lavender pied – Pale grey / white spots and white underside
  • Mulberry – A dark purple body with buff head.
  • Mulberry Pied – Dark purple body with white underside
  • Buff – buff / khaki colour.
  • Chocolate
  • White
